Un professeur d’universit\u00e9 au Japon vient de cr\u00e9er un appareil plut\u00f4t singulier : un \u00e9cran l\u00e9chable. En combinant diff\u00e9rents ar\u00f4mes, l’appareil peut reproduire de nombreux go\u00fbts qui sont appliqu\u00e9s sur un film sur l’\u00e9cran, con\u00e7u pour \u00eatre l\u00e9ch\u00e9.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Des \u00e9missions comme\u00a0Top Chef <\/em>ou\u00a0Le Meilleur P\u00e2tisser <\/em>seraient bien plus int\u00e9ressants pour les t\u00e9l\u00e9spectateurs s’il \u00e9tait possible de go\u00fbter les plats des candidats. C’est ce que propose Homei Miyashita, un professeur de l’universit\u00e9 Meiji au Japon. Il a con\u00e7u un appareil baptis\u00e9 TTTV ou\u00a0Taste the TV<\/em> (go\u00fbtez la TV), un affichage l\u00e9chable qui reconstitue le go\u00fbt des aliments pr\u00e9sent\u00e9s \u00e0 l’\u00e9cran.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

En r\u00e9alit\u00e9 ce n’est pas l’\u00e9cran lui-m\u00eame qui est l\u00e9chable, mais un film plastique qui est d\u00e9roul\u00e9 dessus. L’appareil est constitu\u00e9 de dix r\u00e9servoirs contenant diff\u00e9rents ar\u00f4mes. Ceux-ci sont combin\u00e9s pour recr\u00e9er le go\u00fbt recherch\u00e9 et envoy\u00e9s sous forme de spray sur le film plastique en dessous, \u00e0 la mani\u00e8re d’une imprimante jet d’encre. Des rouleaux d\u00e9placent le film sur l’\u00e9cran pour que l’utilisateur puisse le l\u00e9cher. Il est \u00e9galement possible de placer une coupelle sous le spray si l’id\u00e9e de l\u00e9cher l’\u00e9cran vous rebute.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Go\u00fbter un menu avant de commander<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Pour cr\u00e9er le syst\u00e8me, le chercheur a mix\u00e9 diff\u00e9rents aliments qu’il a ensuite analys\u00e9s avec un capteur de go\u00fbt \u00e9lectronique. Il a ainsi d\u00e9termin\u00e9 leurs compositions afin de les reconstituer avec les dix r\u00e9servoirs d’ar\u00f4mes. Homei Miyashita estime qu’il serait possible de produire une version commerciale du TTTV pour 100.000 yens (770 euros). Ce n’est pas sa premi\u00e8re invention dans ce domaine, puisqu’il avait d\u00e9j\u00e0 cr\u00e9\u00e9 une sucette \u00e9lectronique capable de synth\u00e9tiser diff\u00e9rents go\u00fbts.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Un tel appareil pourrait \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 pour go\u00fbter les menus avant de commander, diff\u00e9rents jeux ou partager le go\u00fbt de la nourriture lors d’un appel vid\u00e9o. L’appareil permet \u00e9galement d’aromatiser des biscuits ou du pain grill\u00e9 et pourrait \u00eatre utilis\u00e9 comme un outil \u00e9ducatif, par exemple pour apprendre \u00e0 devenir sommelier.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
