Ce r\u00e9seau va permettre aux diff\u00e9rentes \u00e9quipes gouvernementales de coordonner leurs interventions pour la gestion des incendies, des braquages, des agressions, des \u00e9meutes, des accidents de la circulation, les crises sanitaires et autres formes de catastrophes naturelles. Minette Libom Likeng, le ministre des Postes et des T\u00e9l\u00e9communications a effectu\u00e9 une visite le 13 juillet 2022 dans les locaux qui abrite le RNTU, situ\u00e9 en face de la mairie de Yaound\u00e9 4<sup>\u00e8me<\/sup> au quartier Ekounou.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Elle \u00e9tait accompagn\u00e9e de Paul Atanga Nji, ministre de l\u2019Administration territoriale et Ibrahim Talba Malla, ministre d\u00e9l\u00e9gu\u00e9 \u00e0 la pr\u00e9sidence charg\u00e9 des March\u00e9s publics. Cette visite gouvernementale avait pour but de se rassurer que l\u2019infrastructure r\u00e9alis\u00e9e \u00e0 90% est d\u00e9j\u00e0 op\u00e9rationnelle, puis faire une \u00e9valuation de ce qui reste \u00e0 faire avant de proc\u00e9der \u00e0 son inauguration.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La r\u00e9ception provisoire de ce r\u00e9seau a eu lieu depuis le 8 juin 2022. Cette phase ouvre ainsi la p\u00e9riode contractuelle de garantie, pendant laquelle l\u2019entreprise chinoise Zte qui a r\u00e9alis\u00e9 l\u2019ouvrage s\u2019est engag\u00e9e \u00e0 optimiser le r\u00e9seau et \u00e0 accompagner le gouvernement \u00e0 former les Camerounais pour la gestion de l\u2019infrastructure.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le RNTU vient r\u00e9pondre aux insuffisances observ\u00e9es dans le syst\u00e8me national des t\u00e9l\u00e9communications, pour la pr\u00e9vention et la gestion des situations d\u2019urgence de toutes natures. Afin de r\u00e9pondre \u00e0 cette insuffisance la mise en place du RNTU a \u00e9t\u00e9 prescrite par le pr\u00e9sident de la R\u00e9publique pour faciliter la coordination quotidienne de la gestion des urgences de diff\u00e9rentes natures.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le RNTU comprend cinq grandes composantes. Il s\u2019agit du r\u00e9seau de radiocommunication \u00e0 ressources partag\u00e9es, d\u2019un syst\u00e8me de communications d\u2019urgence, d\u2019un syst\u00e8me de vid\u00e9o surveillance, d\u2019un syst\u00e8me de vid\u00e9o conf\u00e9rence et d\u2019un syst\u00e8me e-police, une plateforme technologique centralis\u00e9e pour la gestion des op\u00e9rations de s\u00e9curit\u00e9.
