C’est la s\u00e9curit\u00e9 et le renseignement am\u00e9ricains qui ont d\u00e9couvert cette faille nich\u00e9e au c\u0153ur de Windows. Elle permet \u00e0 un pirate d’intercepter et de d\u00e9chiffrer des messages pourtant crypt\u00e9s, mais aussi de transformer des logiciels v\u00e9rol\u00e9s en des services s\u00fbrs et sains. Il est indispensable de mettre \u00e0 jour Windows 10.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n

Microsoft vient de publier une nouvelle mise \u00e0 jour pour corriger une\u00a0faille\u00a0majeure dans ses services cryptographiques. La faille a \u00e9t\u00e9 d\u00e9couverte par l’agence de s\u00e9curit\u00e9 am\u00e9ricaine NSA, ce qui souligne son importance et sa dangerosit\u00e9. C’est d’ailleurs la premi\u00e8re fois que Microsoft attribue la d\u00e9couverte d’une faille \u00e0 la NSA. Elle affecte\u00a0Windows 10, ainsi que Windows Server 2016 et 2019.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Nomm\u00e9e\u00a0CVE-2020-0601<\/a>, la vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 affecte la mani\u00e8re dont le service CryptoAPI (Crypt32.dll) valide les\u00a0certificats\u00a0Elliptic Curve Cryptography<\/em>\u00a0(ECC). Cela signifie qu’il est possible de signer un fichier ex\u00e9cutable malicieux, pour qu’il apparaisse comme provenant d’une source s\u00fbre. La faille affecte \u00e9galement les connections HTTPS,\u00a0les communications et e-mails chiffr\u00e9s.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Une faille particuli\u00e8rement grave<\/h2>\n\n\n\n

Cette vuln\u00e9rabilit\u00e9 d’usurpation d’identit\u00e9 permettrait \u00e0 un attaquant d’intercepter et de d\u00e9chiffrer des \u00e9changes s\u00e9curis\u00e9s sur les syst\u00e8mes affect\u00e9s, y compris vers des\u00a0logiciels\u00a0tiers. L’importance de cette faille est telle que la\u00a0NSA\u00a0a publi\u00e9 son propre\u00a0communiqu\u00e9<\/a>\u00a0encourageant notamment les administrateurs \u00e0 mettre \u00e0 jour leurs syst\u00e8mes au plus vite.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Microsoft<\/a>\u00a0indique ne pas avoir d\u00e9couvert encore de programme exploitant la faille, mais tous les utilisateurs devraient installer la mise \u00e0 jour sans tarder. Ce n’est qu’une question de temps avant que des pirates d\u00e9veloppent des outils pour en tirer profit.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
