Ce 12 septembre, \u00e0 19 heures, Tim Cook d\u00e9voilera\u00a0l&rsquo;iPhone 15, ainsi\u00a0que l&rsquo;iPhone 15 Pro. Parmi les \u00e9volutions par rapport aux mod\u00e8les pr\u00e9c\u00e9dents, on notera l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e d&rsquo;un nouveau\u00a0bouton lat\u00e9ral \u00ab\u00a0Action\u00a0\u00bb, param\u00e9trable par l&rsquo;utilisateur pour lancer un raccourci de son choix. Mais surtout, Apple en profitera pour remplacer le port Lightning, qui avait lui-m\u00eame remplac\u00e9 le connecteur 30 broches en 2012.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>D\u00e9sormais, les nouveaux appareils sign\u00e9s Apple auront droit\u00a0\u00e0 un port USB-C. Soit, pour la premi\u00e8re fois de leur histoire, la m\u00eame connectique que les smartphones fonctionnant gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 Android. Une obligation\u00a0de l&rsquo;Union europ\u00e9enne, pr\u00e9vue pour fin 2024, qu&rsquo;Apple a finalement d\u00e9cid\u00e9 de devancer. Pour l&rsquo;heure, rien ne dit qu&rsquo;Apple ne d\u00e9cidera pas de conserver l&rsquo;appellation Lightning, mais adapt\u00e9e \u00e0 l&rsquo;USB-C dans son nouveau format.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Vitesse de charge<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>En 2012, lors de l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e du Lightning, la technologie d&rsquo;Apple se distinguait par sa simplicit\u00e9 d&rsquo;utilisation: contrairement au micro-USB, il est en effet possible de brancher un c\u00e2ble Lightning dans les deux sens. Mais avec la d\u00e9mocratisation de l&rsquo;USB-C, \u00e9galement sym\u00e9trique, cet argument a disparu.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Le choix d&rsquo;Apple pourrait ainsi s&rsquo;expliquer par les performances potentielles de l&rsquo;USB-C, sup\u00e9rieures \u00e0 celles du Lightning en termes de vitesse de charge, mais aussi d&rsquo;un int\u00e9r\u00eat purement commercial: selon\u00a0un sondage\u00a0r\u00e9alis\u00e9 par le site\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.sellcell.com\/blog\/iphone-15-usb-c-charging-survey\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">SellCell<\/a>, une part importante des utilisateurs d&rsquo;Android voient en l&rsquo;arriv\u00e9e d&rsquo;un iPhone compatible USB-C une motivation pour basculer chez Apple.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>En adoptant un chargeur universel, Apple renonce \u00e0 une diff\u00e9rence de taille: gr\u00e2ce \u00e0 son label\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/support.apple.com\/fr-fr\/HT201619\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">\u00ab\u00a0Made for iPhone\u00a0\u00bb<\/a>, qui s&rsquo;applique aux accessoires certifi\u00e9s par ses soins mais vendus par des tiers, l&rsquo;entreprise touche de juteuses commissions.
