Les gouvernements et les entreprises ne sont pas pr\u00e9par\u00e9s aux ravages que les ordinateurs quantiques causeront dans le domaine de la cybers\u00e9curit\u00e9 d’ici la fin de la d\u00e9cennie, selon un dirigeant d’International Business Machines Corp.<\/b><\/h2>\n

\u00ab\u00a0La quantique va-t-elle vraiment cr\u00e9er un Armageddon de la cybers\u00e9curit\u00e9 ?<\/i>\u00a0\u00bb a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Ana Paula Assis, directrice g\u00e9n\u00e9rale d’IBM pour l’Europe, le Moyen-Orient et l’Afrique, lors d’une table ronde au Forum \u00e9conomique mondial de Davos. \u00ab\u00a0C’est ce qui va se passer.<\/i>\u00a0\u00bb<\/p>\n

Les ordinateurs quantiques, une technologie \u00e9mergente qui acc\u00e9l\u00e8re consid\u00e9rablement la puissance de traitement en effectuant des calculs en parall\u00e8le plut\u00f4t qu’en s\u00e9quence, rendront les syst\u00e8mes de chiffrement existants obsol\u00e8tes. IBM a d\u00e9velopp\u00e9 de nombreuses technologies fondamentales pour l’\u00e8re quantique, qui, selon M. Assis, pourrait arriver d’ici 2030.<\/p>\n

Certains gouvernements commencent \u00e0 prendre la menace au s\u00e9rieux. Le S\u00e9nat am\u00e9ricain a adopt\u00e9, lors d’un rare vote unanime, un projet de loi en 2022 sur la menace que repr\u00e9sentent les ordinateurs quantiques pour le chiffrement.<\/p>\n

Les entreprises ne sont pas \u00e9quip\u00e9es pour utiliser les machines quantiques ou pour faire face aux perturbations qu’elles causeront, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 Jack Hidary, directeur g\u00e9n\u00e9ral de SandboxAQ, lors de la table ronde. La plupart des \u00ab\u00a0entreprises n’ont pas encore de feuille de route solide sur la mani\u00e8re dont elles vont utiliser l’IA et l’informatique quantique pour r\u00e9soudre des probl\u00e8mes fondamentaux<\/i>\u00ab\u00a0, a d\u00e9clar\u00e9 M. Hidary.<\/p>\n

Il a estim\u00e9 qu’il faudrait huit \u00e0 dix ans aux banques pour passer \u00e0 des protocoles post-quantiques, tandis que des ordinateurs quantiques \u00e9volutifs seront disponibles d’ici 2029 ou 2030. Tout ce qui utilise le chiffrement, du commerce \u00e9lectronique aux services bancaires en ligne, est menac\u00e9, selon M. Hidary.<\/p>\n
