La r\u00e9volution promet d&rsquo;\u00eatre immense, si la promesse est respect\u00e9e.<\/strong><\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"marty-row\">\n<div class=\"marty-cell marty-size-12\">\n<p class=\"marty-paragraph-left\">Il ne s&rsquo;agit que de tests et nous sommes loin d&rsquo;un usage r\u00e9el ou m\u00eame d&rsquo;une commercialisation aupr\u00e8s du grand public, il faudra pour cela attendre 2030. Mais la 6G vient encore de montrer tout son potentiel. Il y a quelques jours, au Japon, les op\u00e9rateurs de t\u00e9l\u00e9communications NTT Docomo, NTT, NEC et le g\u00e9ant nippon de la Tech, Fujitsu, ont mis au point un appareil sans fil capable d&rsquo;atteindre les 100 Gbit\/s en 6G. Le tout sur une distance allant jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 100 m\u00e8tres. Une prouesse \u00f4 combien prometteuse, qui fait suite au test salvateur men\u00e9 par LG fin 2022 jusqu&rsquo;\u00e0 1 Tbit\/s !<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"marty-row\">\n<div class=\"marty-cell marty-size-12\">\n<h2 class=\"marty-title\">La 6G ne demandera qu&rsquo;une poign\u00e9e de secondes pour t\u00e9l\u00e9charger les plus gros jeux vid\u00e9o ou films<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"marty-row\">\n<div class=\"marty-cell marty-size-12\">\n<p class=\"marty-paragraph-left\">Avec de tels d\u00e9bits, t\u00e9l\u00e9charger un film en 4K ne prendrait que 2 \u00e0 3 secondes de votre temps. S&#8217;emparer de la version PC de\u00a0Helldivers 2\u00a0(environ 70 Go) ne demanderait que 5 petites secondes. M\u00eame si la course aux d\u00e9bits peut para\u00eetre exag\u00e9r\u00e9e et m\u00eame inutile pour certains, il faut avouer que cela ouvre quelques perspectives all\u00e9chantes, aussi bien pour le grand public que pour les professionnels, ou m\u00eame les m\u00e9dias.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"marty-row\">\n<div class=\"marty-cell marty-size-12\">\n<p class=\"marty-paragraph-left\">Sur le papier donc, la 6G dispose de la capacit\u00e9 d&rsquo;\u00eatre entre 5 et 20 fois plus rapide que la 5G, tout d\u00e9pend \u00e9videmment des d\u00e9bits th\u00e9oriques annonc\u00e9s un peu partout dans le monde, pouvant aller de 5 \u00e0 20 Gbit\/s). Rappelons qu&rsquo;en France, Orange, l&rsquo;op\u00e9rateur qui propose les meilleurs d\u00e9bits sur la derni\u00e8re g\u00e9n\u00e9ration ouverte au public, a \u00e9t\u00e9\u00a0flash\u00e9 \u00e0 275 Mbit\/s en moyenne\u00a0ces derniers mois.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"marty-row\">\n<div class=\"marty-cell marty-size-12\">\n<p class=\"marty-paragraph-left\">Fujitsu et les op\u00e9rateurs japonais expliquent avoir men\u00e9 des tests de v\u00e9rification dans les bandes 100 GHz (en ext\u00e9rieur) et 300 GHz (en int\u00e9rieur), \u00e0 l&rsquo;aide d&rsquo;un appareil sans fil con\u00e7u apr\u00e8s une longue phase de recherche et d\u00e9veloppement, les travaux ayant d\u00e9marr\u00e9 d\u00e8s 2021. Ces fr\u00e9quences utilisent le spectre appel\u00e9 \u00ab\u00a0sub-terahertz\u00a0\u00bb (sub-THz), l&rsquo;une des principales innovations de la 6G.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<div class=\"marty-row\">\n<div class=\"marty-cell marty-size-12\">\n<h2 class=\"marty-title\">Les forces et les faiblesses de la 6G d\u00e9j\u00e0 connues<\/h2>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"marty-row\">\n<div class=\"marty-cell marty-size-12\">\n<p class=\"marty-paragraph-left\">Le d\u00e9bit de 100 Gbit\/s a \u00e9t\u00e9 atteint en maintenant une distance de 100 m\u00e8tres entre l&rsquo;\u00e9metteur et l&rsquo;appareil r\u00e9cepteur. Notons qu&rsquo;il n&rsquo;y avait aucun obstacle entre les deux, le but \u00e9tant bien de mesurer la capacit\u00e9 maximale th\u00e9orique de la technologie. Si cela peut sembler prodigieux, gardons les pieds sur terre, car la distance reste plut\u00f4t faible.<\/p>\n<div class=\"marty-row\">\n<div class=\"marty-cell marty-size-12\">\n<p class=\"marty-paragraph-left\">La 6G aura pour force principale une hausse remarquable des d\u00e9bits et une diminution de la latence. Sauf que celles-ci n&rsquo;interviendront vraiment que sur des port\u00e9es limit\u00e9es. Des compromis technologiques seront bien entendu trouv\u00e9s pour optimiser les d\u00e9bits, mais ils seront forc\u00e9ment plus faibles qu&rsquo;annonc\u00e9s, \u00e0 l&rsquo;instar de la 5G ou de la 4G en leur temps.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n<div class=\"marty-row\">\n<div class=\"marty-cell marty-size-12\">\n<p class=\"marty-paragraph-left\">On en vient donc \u00e0 la question des usages de la 6G, qui devraient se diriger vers le t\u00e9l\u00e9chargement ultra-rapide, le streaming vid\u00e9o ultra-HD et le contr\u00f4le en temps r\u00e9el pour les v\u00e9hicules autonomes, si les infrastructures et \u00e9quipements sont suffisamment nombreux. On peut aussi imaginer un possible retour du metavers, et l&rsquo;\u00e9mergence de la communication holographique.
